How do I register my Micro Medical Software?
Here is the step by step guide on how to Register your Spida, SpidaXpert, Puma and Rida Software.
STEP 1 - Starting the registration process
- When loading the Micro Medical Software for the first time or until you register, the follow Registration screen will be displayed (see above). A daily countdown will be shown each time you open the Spida5 icon on your PC. The initial evaluation lasts for 30 days and during this period it is strongly recommended you choose to register or the evaluation period will expire. You will be unable to use the software until you obtain and enter the authorisation key.
- Please click on Register Now as show above.
STEP 2 - Inputting details
After you have clicked on Register Now the above screen will be displayed on your screen. Please find below the list that indicates each marker in the above screen.
- No1, No 2 & No3 - This may or may not be filled out, but it is recommended that these fields are completed
- Place your name in No 1
- In No 2 you will need to place your address details and in No 3 you will have to enter your email address
- By Selecting No 4 we can choose how you wish to send the registration details to us
- By Selecting No 5 you will be entering your Authorisation Key (available after you have completed and submitted this form), Click Apply when the key has been fully entered
BY EMAIL
- Once you have selected email on No 4 in theory your email software should automatically load your email software, (Outlook for example)
- When you email all you will need to do is to check to makes sure your details are displayed, and then press SEND
- The above message will be displayed if your email application is not MAPI compliant
- Simply load your email Application
- Click on new mail
- Then in the message part use Ctrl+V to paste the text into your new email message
- This then sends the email to register@micromedical.co.uk
BY PHONE
- When you select by telephone, the above screen will be displayed.
- Simply call the number underlined in blue above to contact one of our experienced registration team members.
BY FAX OR POST
- When selecting by FAX or Post your Internet Explorer will be loaded as per the screen shown above
- Please click on File/Print, which will use your default printer, please press OK
- This will then print the Registration form, which will contain the FAX number and Postal address details
BY INTERNET
- When selecting the Internet option you must first be connected to the Internet
- Simply fill in the form then once complete, click on Submit
Enter Authorisation Key
- When you receive your Authorisation key you will first need to repeat Step 2
- Go to No 5 (as shown above) and enter your Authorisation key
- Any versions below 1.20 please ensure the Key is entered in upper case, 0 equal the number zero and l equal the number one. (It is strongly recommended that you check for Spida updates using the Help option on the Spida software toolbar and selecting - Check for updates
- Once you have entered your Authorisation Key, please click on apply
CONGRATULATIONS
- After clicking Apply, the above message should be displayed.
- Click on OK and enjoy your Spida software
- If you get this message, "Wrong Authorisation Key, please re-enter Authorisation Key", please re-type the authorisation key ensuring it appears exactly as on the certificate you were provided with.
