My handheld Spirometer is displaying BAT on the display screen. What does this mean?

Example Bat flashing

If you are an owner of the Micro Plus, Micro GP, Micro DL, Micro DiaryCard, Smoke Check, Micro CO and the Micro, the screen below can be displayed with the word BAT flashing (see example below). The battery life is approximately 24 hours of continuous use. The battery voltage is monitored continuously and the following warning message is displayed when the battery starts to become exhausted.

Replacing PP3 Battery in your Spirometer

  • Simply turn the Spirometer face down and remove the battery cover from the back of the Spirometer
  • Take out the old PP3 Battery; remove from Cover (as shown in example below) and dispose of the exhausted battery
  • Connect the new PP3 battery onto the battery clip and replace back into the battery compartment.
  • Replace the battery cover.
  • Switch on your Spirometer and you will see that the BAT message has now disappeared.
